This was an exciting week in Sin City for sports and entertainment.
The Vegas Golden Knights took to the ice on April 11th for game 1 of their inaugural Stanley Cup Playoff series with the LA Kings. The level of excitement in the city was bubbling over by the time both teams started the game. In thrilling style the Golden Knights took a 1-0 series lead by shutting out the Kings. The teams meet again April 13th for game 2 of the series.
NYNY Hotel & casino, home to the T-Mobile arena, where the team plays, unveiled a 28 foot tall Golden Knights jersey (or sweater for those NHL buffs) on their iconic replica of the statue of liberty to cheer on the team.
Planet Hollywood Casino announced that Gwen Stefani will be joining their a-list line up of headliners. The iconic lead singer of No Doubt will headline the Zappos Theater inside the resort starting June 27, 2018. Its will undoubtedly be one of the hottest tickets of the summer! In more sports news, the LV Aces participated in the WNB Draft on April 12th, where they selected A’ja Wilson as the #1 overall draft pick.
